We recommend a setting of Hourly for systems doing timelapse recording.
If Autobreak is disabled, the timelapse clips are continuous files that could record for an
entire day or even a whole week as one timelapse clip.
To jump to a particular date and time, enable Time search and then enter the begin
date/time desired. Press PLAY. The images for that period, if available, automatically begin
to play back. When Autobreak is enabled, you can put the HRDV into fast forward turbo
mode to advance rapidly through the selected video clip. When the end of the clip is
reached, the HRDV automatically jumps to the next clip and continues reviewing in turbo
fast forward mode without adjusting the jog wheel. This enables you to continuously review
all timelapse clips without jog wheel adjustment. If the HRDV was set for Hourly Autobreak
intervals, you can scan the entire day into the previous day or for as long as you like.
Note
This feature works best if you enable Playback Lock to One Camera on the
User Preferences screen (see
To jump to a previous clip, press the left arrow.
Note
The Clip order must be set to Chronological (default) on the User
Preferences screen.
