Press FUNCTION + MENU to activate the Report function without having to
enter the Setup menus
During Playback, MENU activates archiving the clip displayed

During Playback mode, the outer shuttle ring is used for variable speed playback
either forward or reverse.
Use the inner jog wheel for field-by-field playback forward or reverse.

During playback, use to terminate Play mode
The front panel controls have different functions during Setup mode. See
description of those functions.
The HRDV16/8 has 16/8 channels of video input and output and one audio input and
output. By connecting to one or two video monitors and an amplified speaker to these
outputs, the signals from your cameras and microphone can be monitored live.
For the main monitor, use the control buttons on the front panel to set how the images
display on the screen. For example:
Press FUNCTION + Camera 1 to select input from a single camera (full view).
Press FUNCTION + Camera 4 to select any four cameras (2 x 2).
Press FUNCTION + Camera 9 to select any nine cameras (3 x 3).
Press FUNCTION + Camera 16 to select all 16 cameras (4 x 4).
