Description
Text Position
Position of the time and date in the camera field of view. Position options are:
Upper left
Upper right
Lower left
Lower right
Center
Num Lines
Maximum number of lines and string length of transaction text displayed on the camera.
Char Length
Termination
When enabled, the unit automatically detects whether video is present. It also automatically
Auto Detect
updates the Switcher Setup when cameras are present.

Step 3. Set Text Events

To change the text that displays on the video clips:
1.
Go to the Camera Title field.
2.
Activate the box by pressing Enter, then use the text entry screen to edit the camera
title.
3.
Select Accept to confirm your changes.
4.
In the Position field, select where you want the title to display on the video clip.
5.
In the Text Position field, select where you want the time and date to appear on the
video clip.
6.
When you have finished making your selections, select Accept, then press Enter to
activate your changes and exit this screen.
Use the Text Event Setup screen to configure transaction text events on a per-port basis.
For example, you can set:
Recording rate
Recording time
Text trigger strings
Which cameras to record
This port is limited to asynchronous RS232 data that is line terminated (carriage return or
line feed) with ASCII format data.
Note
Text triggers may be set as case sensitive for better discrimination of text
events.
Access the Text Event Setup screen as follows: MENU
