Setting the Spot Monitor Display

Configuring Covert Setup

Note
For the main monitor with multiscreen display, you can override the
sequencing operation with the front panel control buttons. To initiate
sequencing on the main monitor, select FUNCTION + Camera 1.
The spot monitor only operates in sequencing mode. To configure the cameras that you
want to appear on the Spot Monitor sequence:
1.
On the Spot Monitor screen (MENU
Monitor), enable the desired cameras. See

In the Dwell Time field, set the time the video is played for each camera before it
moves to the next camera programmed in sequence mode. Use the
or the jog wheel to change the value.

Select Accept to accept your changes and go back to the Display Setup screen.
Cameras may be individually disabled to support a covert camera operation. This prevents
specific cameras from being seen, even though they are recorded. To select certain
cameras that you do not want to appear on the Main Monitor and Spot Monitor view:

On the Covert Setup screen (MENU
Setup), disable the desired cameras (see

Camera 1 button is pressed on the front panel of the HRDV. Camera 1 will not show
as part of the Spot Monitor sequence.

You can also set the HRDV unit to hide the messages that someone is remotely
connected to the recorder through RAS. Enable Covert RAS to use this option.
