Text Criteria Screen
The following table describes the fields on the Text Criteria screen.
Description
Enable or disable case sensitivity for searching. When enabled, a text search
considers uppercase letters to be different from lowercase letters.
Select which port(s) (1 to 4) the data is searched and extracted from.
Select the type of clips to scan for:
Scan all data
Scan events
Scan timelapse
The following three fields allow you to specify up to three text search conditions
for each report. If you select more than one condition, your search will report if any
of them are found.
Specify text (letters and/or numbers) you are searching for.
The right-hand box allows you to search for numbers. For example, you can
specify instances of a certain dollar amount. Or you can specify "all transactions
over $100.00 between January 1-30."
The center box options are:
= (default) equal to the value shown in the right-hand box.
> greater than the value shown in the right-hand box.
< less than the value shown in the right-hand box.
X The number box is ignored and the search process only looks at the text string.
^ the value is exactly the same as shown in the right-hand box.
If you only want to look for a number, and the text is irrelevant, enter an * in the
text string box.
