Task/Action with Default

Auto Acknowledging a Contact

1.
Select 3 Control Options
Auto Ack (Alarm Acknowledge).
2.
When you set the Alarm Auto Ack status to Disabled, the
active alarm waits for manual acknowledgement.
3.
When you set the Alarm Auto Ack status to Enabled, the active
alarms executes for the time that you set in the Time (Sec)
column. The active alarm is automatically acknowledged.
Example:
Alarm 1 is set to auto acknowledge (Enabled) for 30
seconds. When Alarm 1 is triggered, the corresponding function
(preset/preset tour/mimic tour) runs for 30 seconds. At the end of 30
seconds, the alarm is auto acknowledged and the active function
stops.
Note
When an alarm is configured for Day/NightShot mode, the
auto acknowledge time and alarm messages are not
applicable (active).

Displaying an Alarm Message

1.
Select 3 Control Options
Alarm Message.
2.
Enter a text string (maximum 24 alphanumeric characters) that
will display on the OSD when an alarm is triggered. This text
remains on the screen as long as the alarm function is active. As
soon as the alarm is acknowledged, the text string is cleared.

Setting Alarm Overwrite

1.
Select 3 Control Options
Overwrite and/or 6 Alarm Overwrite Time.
2.
When you set Alarm Overwrite to ON, the active alarm is
acknowledged at the end of the Alarm Overtime time and the
next triggered alarm becomes active.
3.

Notes
Setting Alarm Overwrite is useful when
more than one alarm is triggered.
Example:
Alarm Overwrite is set to ON
and the Alarm Overwrite Time is set to 40
seconds.
When Alarm 1 gets triggered, the
corresponding function starts executing.
If Alarm 2 is triggered, the corresponding
function will only be executed after Alarm
1 is acknowledged. When Alarm 1 is
active and Alarm 2 gets triggered, the first
alarm waits until the end of the alarm
overtime time (in this example, 40
seconds). After 40 seconds, the first
alarm is acknowledged and the second
alarm becomes active.
