How to Find Home (MAXPRO-mode or Diamond Protocols)
On the controller, press and hold the Fn key, then press F1.
Note
For protocols VCL, VCL UTC, Pelco P and Pelco D there is no command to
find home during regular operation.
The joystick on any controller is used to control the pan and tilt functions. The speed of pan
and tilt is relative to the amount of movement applied to the joystick. The following is a brief
overview of the operation of the HJZTP controller (Diamond, MAXPRO-mode or VCL
protocols available).
For the HJZTP controller:
the maximum pan speed can be between 120, 240, or 480 per second.
the maximum tilt speed is one-half the maximum pan speed.
if the maximum pan speed is set to 240 per second, the maximum tilt speed is set to
120 per second.
Then
the protocol, baud rate, parity, data bits, camera
model, and firmware release dates and versions
display on the monitor.
an X displays on the monitor.
the message Finding Home... displays on the
monitor followed by Home Found...
it finds home when the first control command is
received at which time the operator can control the
dome with the controller.
