5. Shift Switch Input Line Short Circuit Inspection
Check for continuity between the wire harness side
12P (Black) connector [1] and ground.
Connection: Green/blue – Ground
Is there continuity?
YES
NO
DTC 44-1 (EOT SENSOR LOW
VOLTAGE)
1. EOT Sensor System Inspection
Check the EOT sensor with the MCS.
Is about 0 V indicated?
YES
NO
2. EOT Sensor Inspection
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect the EOT sensor 2P (Black) connector
(page 13-81).
Turn the ignition switch ON.
Check the EOT sensor with the MCS.
Is about 0 V indicated?
YES
NO
3. EOT Sensor Input Line Short Circuit Inspection
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect the PCM 33P (Blue) connector (page 4-
39).
Check the continuity between the wire harness side
2P (Black) connector [1] and ground.
Connection: Blue/green – Ground
Is there continuity?
YES
NO
DUAL CLUTCH TRANSMISSION (DCT) (CRF1000D)
Light green/red – Ground
– • Short circuit in the Green/blue wire
• Short circuit in the Light green/red wire
– Replace the PCM with a known good one
(page 4-39) and recheck.
– GO TO STEP 2.
– Intermittent failure
– GO TO STEP 3.
– Faulty EOT sensor
– Short circuit in the Blue/green wire
– Replace the PCM with a known good one
(page 4-39) and recheck.
