Gearshift Linkage Inspection; Gearshift Linkage Installation - Honda CRF1000 Shop Manual

Remove the following:
– Dowel pin [1]
– Shift drum stopper arm pivot bolt [2]
– Shift drum stopper arm [3]
– Return spring [4]
– Washer [5]
Remove the oil seal [1].
INSPECTION
Inspect the following parts for damage, abnormal wear
and deformation. Replace if necessary.
– Shift drum center
– Shift drum stopper arm
– Return spring
– Gearshift spindle
INSTALLATION
Install a new oil seal [1] until it is fully seated and apply
grease to the oil seal lips.
