DTC TROUBLESHOOTING
• If the PCM is replaced, perform the following:
– Key Registration Procedure (page 23-6)
– Clutch Initialize Learning Procedure (page 13-82)
DTC 9-1 (CLUTCH LINE EOP SENSOR
LOW VOLTAGE)
1. Clutch Line EOP Sensor System Inspection
Connect the MCS and start the engine.
Check the clutch line EOP sensor with the MCS.
Is about 0 V indicated?
YES
NO
2. Clutch Line EOP Sensor Inspection
Stop the engine.
Disconnect the clutch line EOP sensor 3P (Gray)
connector (page 13-80).
Turn the ignition switch ON.
Check the clutch line EOP sensor with the MCS.
Is about 0 V indicated?
YES
NO
3. Clutch
Inspection
Measure the voltage at the wire harness side 3P
(Gray) connector [1].
Connection: Yellow/red (+) – Gray/black (–)
Is the voltage within 4.75 – 5.25 V?
YES
NO
4. Clutch Line EOP Sensor Input Line Open Circuit
Inspection
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect the PCM 33P (Black) connector (page
4-39).
check for continuity between the wire harness side
3P (Gray) connector [1] and 33P (Black) connector
[2].
TOOL:
Test probe
Connection: Yellow/red – B27
Is there continuity?
YES
NO
DUAL CLUTCH TRANSMISSION (DCT) (CRF1000D)
– GO TO STEP 2.
– Intermittent failure
– GO TO STEP 3.
– Faulty clutch line EOP sensor

– GO TO STEP 5.
– GO TO STEP 4.

– Replace the PCM with a known good one
(page 4-39) and recheck.
– Open circuit in the Yellow/red wire
