Fold Is Not Made Correctly

If there is a folding problem, check the following:

The Skewed Folding Occurs

The crease is skewed
• See the Quick Start Guide and adjust the position of the guides, angle of the register guide and the pressure of the rollers.
The roller gap is not set correctly
• See page 75 and adjust the roller gap.
The transport rollers are dirty
• Clean the transport rollers.
If the transport rollers are dirty, the sheet may
slip. If this happens, the crease will be skewed.

The Sheet Is Not Folded on the Crease

The crease direction is not set correctly
Normally, when you use thick sheets, a negative crease is placed in the mountain fold position. And then a sheet is folded on the crease.
When you use thin sheets, a positive crease should be placed in the mountain fold position to make a quality folding.
