Setting the Correction Values for Crease and Fold Positions Depending on the Sheet Thickness
2
Determine two correction values
for 1st creasing unit. One is for
the thick sheet, and the other one
is for the thin sheet.
•
This correction value is for the positive
creasing line.
•
For example, if the crease is made in the po-
sition of 106 / 4.18"mm from the sheet lead-
ing edge frequently when the crease must be
made in the position of 105 / 4.14" mm, enter
"-1" as the correction value.
3
Determine the correction value
for 2nd creasing unit
•
This correction value is for the negative
creasing line.
•
For example, if the sheet is folded in the
position of 314 mm / 12.37" from the sheet
leading edge frequently when the sheet must
be folded in the position of 315 mm / 12.4" ,
enter "+1" as the correction value
4
Determine two correction values
for 1st fold unit. One is for the
thick sheet, and the other one is
for the thin sheet.
•
This correction value is for the first fold when
the sheet is folded twice. The position for the
accordion fold is shown in the drawing to the
right.
•
For example, if the sheet is folded in the
position of 105 mm / 4.14" from the sheet
leading edge frequently when the sheet must
be folded in the position of 100 mm / 3.94" ,
enter "-5.0" as the correction value.
