There Is Frequent Sheet Jam

The sheets are not loaded at the center of the feed table
• Load the sheets at the center of the feed table. Then
move table guides to the sheets. Set the table
guides on both sides of the sheets evenly.
CAUTION
Hold the base of the table guide and
move them. If you hold the upper
part of the table guides and move
them forcibly, the table guides may
be bent.
There is a foreign object inside the machine
• If jams occur frequently, open the front cover, the
register transport section cover and the fold section
cover. Check that there is no foreign object.
The pressure of the transport rollers is not set correctly
• See the Quick Start Guide and adjust the pressure of the transport rollers.
The roller gap is not set correctly
• See page 75 and adjust the roller gap.
The sheet size may be out of specification.
• The sheet size is limited depending on the fold pattern.
See Section 1-1-3 and check the sheet size.
