Adjusting the Transport Speed and Transport Interval

Adjust the transport speed and the transport interval only when problems with feeding, transporting, creasing
or folding still occur after you follow the troubleshooting procedures on the page 89 through page 92 . The
transport speed and the transport interval can be adjusted using the Run - Settings screen.
Adjusting the Transport Speed

The taller the level bar, the higher the trans-
port speed.
•
If fold positions are not stable when you use
thin sheets, decrease the transport speed.

Adjusting the Transport Interval

Press or
transport interval.
•
The taller the level bar, the larger the trans-
port interval.
•
If double feeding occurs frequently when you
use a sheet with a length of 400 mm (15.75")
or more, set the transport interval larger. The
fluff air will reach the rear edge of a sheet
and sheets will be fed stably.
