Fold Section

Fold Roller 1
The 1st fold knife pushes up a sheet, and the
sheet is folded between fold rollers 1 and 2.

Fold Roller 2
The 2nd fold knife pushes a sheet, and the sheet
is folded between fold rollers 2 and 3.

Fold Roller 3

First Fold Unit
This unit folds sheets. Sheets are folded on a
crease by the fold unit. The 1st fold unit is used
only when the sheet is folded twice.

Second Fold Unit
This unit folds sheets. Sheets are folded on a
crease by the fold unit. The 2nd fold unit is used
at all times when the folding job is done.

2nd Fold Unit Locking Knob
This knob locks the 2nd fold unit. Loosen this
knob when you remove the 2nd fold unit to re-
move a jammed sheet.

Roller Gap Adjusting Knob
Use this knob when you adjust the gap between
fold roller 2 and fold roller 3. Adjust two knobs in
the front and rear of the unit evenly.

Roller Gap Adjusting Lever
Use this lever when you adjust the gap between
fold roller 2 and fold roller 3. Push the lever and
insert the same number of sheets as will pass
between fold roller 2 and fold roller 3. This sets
the gap between the rollers to be the same as
the sheet thickness. For example, insert three
sheets under the roller gap adjusting lever when
the sheet will be letter folded. See the Quick Start
