Setting - Mode Selection Screen

Fold Pattern Setting
Select a fold pattern.

Standard Sheet Size Setting
Select one of these if you are using a standard size sheet.

Cover Sheet Pattern Setting

Cover Sheet Registering Point Setting
Set the registering point of the cover
sheet to the center of spine.
Set the registering point of the cover
sheet to the corner of spine.

Custom Sheet Size
When you are not using a standard size sheet, set the sheet
size here. Press this value box and enter the sheet length.
Sheet Length

Cover Sheet Length Setting
Press this value box and enter the cover sheet length.

Creasing and Fold Mode
Press this button when folding sheets after creasing. The
upper part of the screen becomes active and you can select a
fold pattern, a standard sheet size and a custom sheet size.

Creasing for Cover Mode
Press this button when creasing cover sheets for
binding. The lower part of the screen becomes ac-
tive and you can select a cover sheet pattern, cover
sheet registering point, and cover sheet size.

Go to the Setup - Manual Screen
Press this button when you want to place more creases
than you can place by selecting one of the icons in No.
1 and 3.

Sheet Thickness
Thin Sheet:
The correction value for the thin sheet entered on
the Administrator - Crease and Fold Correction
screen is used for the creasing unit and fold unit.
Normal Sheet:
The correction will not be done.
Thick Sheet:
The correction value for the thick sheet entered
on the Administrator - Crease and Fold Correction
screen is used for the creasing unit and fold unit.

OK Button
When a pattern with flap is selected for creasing and
fold mode or cover sheet pattern and this button is
pressed, the Run - Roller Gap Instruction screen is
displayed. See page 29 for details. When a pattern
without flap is selected and this button is pressed, the
settings on this screen are saved and the Run - Fine
Adjustment screen is displayed.
