The Crease Is Not Made in the Set Position

The settings are not correct
• See page 30 through page 32 and check that
the settings are correct.
If the spine corners move because the sheet is
bent for the creasing lines, see page 44 and
correct it.

The Crease Is Skewed

The position of the guides, the angle of the register guide or the pressure of the rollers is not correct
• See the Quick Start Guide and adjust them.
The transport rollers are dirty
• Clean the transport rollers.
If the transport rollers are dirty, the sheet may
slip. If this happens, the crease will be skewed.

The Crease Is Shifted

The transport rollers are dirty
• Clean the transport rollers.
If the transport rollers are dirty, the sheet may
slip. If this happens, the crease will be made in
an incorrect position.
The creasing section sheet leading edge sensor is dirty
• Remove the 1st creasing unit and then clean the
B30 creasing section sheet leading edge sensor.
See page 106 for instructions on removing the 1st
creasing unit.
If the detection part of the sensor is dirty, the
sensor may not detect the leading edge of the
sheet correctly.
