Adjust the Creasing Depth

If necessary, adjust the creasing depth depending on the sheet thickness and the sheet type. Use the creasing
depth adjusting dials on the 1st or the 2nd creasing unit.

Open the register transport sec-
tion cover.

Loosen the lock levers.

Turn dials in the front and rear of
the unit evenly.
•
The creasing depth can be adjusted in nine
steps.
The smaller the number on the dial, the shal-
lower the creasing depth.
If you are creasing a very thick sheet, the
creasing unit may be locked.

Tighten the lock levers.
