Main Switch Test/Replacement
1.
Carefully pry the switch out afthe instrument panel.
2.
Disconnect the 6P connector from the
switch.

If there is
no
continuity,
replace the
switch.

Set/Resume Switch
Test/Replacement
1.
Disconnect the battery negative cable
,
then discon-
nect the positive cable. and wait at
least
three
min-
utes.
2.
Disconnect the
driver's
airbag and front
passenger's
airbag connectors (see section 24).
3.
Remove
the dashboard lower cover and knee bolster.
4.
Di sconnect the
6P connector between the cable reel
sub
harness and the
main
wire
harness.
Wire
side
of female terminals
5.
Check
for
continuity between the terminals of the
6P connector
in
each
switch position
according to
the
table.
