1. Turn the ignit ion switch ON (II),
2. Shift to

3. Measu re the vo ltage between
the 06 and 820 or 822 termi-
nals.
Is there vo ltage?

Possible Cause
• Disconnected A/T gear position switch connector
• Open in AIT gear position switch wire
• Faulty A/T gear position switch
The system is OK at this time.
Check for other problems such
as
harness damage.
