Checking Connection

1) Input connection step of Finisher.
• Service mode > COPIER > OPTION > ACCPST-D > ACC1 to 8
NOTE:
In the case of directly connecting to the host machine, enter "1" and press "OK".
2) Exit from Service Mode.
3) Execute shutdown sequence, and then turn OFF the power of the host machine and
Finisher.
4) Turn ON the power of the finisher then the host machine.
CAUTION:
The host machine must be turned off and then back on after indicating the order of
connection; otherwise, it will not be able to recognize the presence of the connected
accessories.
5) Confirm that the combination of the firmware version for host machine and Finisher is
appropriate.
6) Check the paper feed and operation.

Adjustment

Height Adjustment

Depending on the floor condition of the installation site, the height of the Finisher needs to
be adjusted. If not properly adjusted, paper can be jammed more frequently in the Finisher
Pickup Assembly. Follow the steps below to adjust the height if necessary.
■ Checking the Height
1) Follow the instruction of shutdown sequence, and then turn OFF the power of the host
machine and Finisher.
2) Check the height of the Finisher and the upstream equipment.
The height difference between the right top of the Finisher and the left top of the upstream
equipment should be within +/-2 mm.
(The figure shows a case of connection with the host machine.)
