- 2 5.1 Installation
For system configurations, refer to the following:
Section 2.1.2 System configuration for installation
(1) Before installing MX MESInterface, close any other applications running on

Windows .
(2) The installer may not work normally because the update program of operating
system or other companies' software such as Windows
update may start automatically.
Please install the driver after changing the setting of the update program not
to start automatically.
(3) When installing MX MESInterface, log on as a user with Administrator
authority.
(4) When installing MELSOFT to a Windows Vista

and Windows
A-0008, FA-A-0091, and FA-A-0153 respectively.
(5) When using Microsoft Access as a database or when using MX MESInterface
whose software version is "1.16S" or earlier without any modification of the
setting of ODBC, select "32-bit".
