8.2.2 Quarterly Maintenance

Baseline Requirement
Check whether the heat
exchanger core has scale.
Check whether the water
pump is rusted.
Check whether water leaks
from the seal of the water
pump spindle.
During the first half year of
operation, take a sample
from each route of supplied
water and from circulating
water for one of units for
each computer room every
month.
NOTICE
Spray water can be circulated
for six times by default, which
can be changed depending on
the local climate and water
source conditions.

Troubleshooting
Clean the heat exchanger core.
1. Add common chemicals such as
scale remover, prefilming agent,
and corrosion inhibitor to the
water tank, and start the spray
system to clean the heat
exchanger core.
2. After the cleaning is complete,
drain the sewage, inject clean
water, and start the spray system
again to flush the heat exchanger
core.
3. You are advised to repeat step 2
for three times until the heat
exchanger core is cleaned.
Remove the rust.
If water leaks, replace the water
pump or water pump spindle seal.
If the test result does not meet the
water quality requirements, perform
a test again and increase the test
frequency (it is recommended that
sampling be conducted half a
month). If the results of three
consecutive tests do not meet the
requirements, find out the cause in
water supply and take
corresponding measures to ensure
normal operation of the spray
system.
