4.3.5.2 Installing a Return Air Duct
Prerequisites
Before installing the air duct, check whether there is any construction waste in the
air shaft. If yes, clear it.

Procedure
Step 1 Prepare a return air duct onsite. You are advised to use both flexible and rigid
connections to prepare the return air duct onsite by yourself.
Step 2 Install the return air duct. Nut holes have been reserved at the return air vent of
the unit. You can use the reserved nut holes or drill holes at the return air vent of
the unit to secure the flexible connection.

The air duct needs to be prepared by the customer based on the site
requirements. The figures are for reference only.
The horizontal section is secured using 42 M6x25 screws, and the vertical
section is secured using 22 M6x25 screws.
NO TE
The air duct must be wrapped with thermal insulation foam, and the thickness of the
thermal insulation foam must be greater than or equal to 3 cm.
