7.1 Powering On and Starting the UPS

Prerequisites
Measure the voltage and frequency of the external input switch of the UPS. The
voltage range is as follows:

Step 1 Turn on the upstream bypass and mains input switches.
After the UPS is powered on, initialization begins. The MDU displays the Huawei
logo and an initialization progress bar.

138–260 V AC (line voltage) in the 200 V AC/208 V AC/210 V AC voltage
system
138–485 V AC (line voltage) in the 380 V AC/400 V AC/415 V AC voltage
system
192–528 V AC (line voltage) in the 480 V AC voltage system
The following operations are applicable to a single UPS. For parallel systems,
contact Huawei technical support.
Before power-on, ensure that the devices have passed all check items in the
section "Verifying the Installation."
Before power-on, ensure that all the UPS switches and upstream switches are
OFF.
