3.2.2 K-1# Keypad Set-up Operations
Define and control the individual parameter setups.
The frequency converter has four parameter setups that
can be programmed independently of each other. This
makes the frequency converter very flexible and able to
solve advanced control functionality problems, often
saving the cost of external control equipment. For example
these can be used to program the frequency converter to
operate according to one control scheme in one setup (e.g.
motor 1 for horizontal movement) and another control
scheme in another setup (e.g. motor 2 for vertical
movement). Alternatively they can be used by an OEM
machine builder to identically program all their factory
fitted frequency converters for different machine types
within a range to have the same parameters and then
during production/commissioning simply select a specific
setup depending on which machine the frequency
converter is installed on.
The active setup (i.e. the setup in which the frequency
converter is currently operating) can be selected in
parameter K-10 Active Set-up and is displayed in the keypad.
Using Multi set-up it is possible to switch between setups
with the frequency converter running or stopped, via
digital input or serial communication commands. If it is
necessary to change setups whilst running, ensure
parameter K-12 This Set-up Linked to is programmed as
required. Using parameter K-11 Edit Set-up it is possible to
edit parameters within any of the setups whilst continuing
the frequency converter operation in its Active Setup
which can be a different setup to that being edited. Using
parameter K-51 Set-up Copy it is possible to copy parameter
settings between the setups to enable quicker commis-

default value of parameter F-04 Base Frequency
to 60 Hz.
Function:
Selects the operating mode upon
reconnection of the frequency converter to
mains voltage after power down in hand on
mode.
Restarts the frequency converter, maintaining
the start/stop settings (applied by [Hand On/
Off]) selected before the power-down of the
frequency converter.
Restarts the frequency converter with a saved
local reference after mains voltage reappears
and after pressing [Hand].
Resets the local reference to 0 upon restarting
the frequency converter.
