5 Operation

Adjusting reference lines

You can change the reference lines for RL and EL at
any time. The dB values always refer to the reference
line during recording. These values can also be positive,
i.e. positioned above the reference.
– Select the function group LINE.
– Select the function RL and change the reference line
RL as required.
– Adjust the reference lines SL and EL in the same
way.

Turning the CNDAC evaluation off

You can turn the CNDAC evaluation off at any time.
– Switch to the first operating level.
– Select the function group CNDAC.
– Press one of the selector keys to display the specific
function groups and functions for the CNDAC.
– Select the function group SETUP.
– Select the function CNDAC MODE and press one of
the selector keys to turn the CNDAC evaluation off
(OFF). The DAC curve and the evaluation lines are
no longer displayed in the A-scan.
N o t e
The DAC curve is not lost by turning the func-
tion off. By turning it on again, you can use
the function CNDAC MODE to go back to the
CNDAC evaluation again without losing any
settings.
