6.4.11 Misc. Connector (P18)

The C2K-TM provides an on-board 2 x 5-pin header (P18) that can be used as a jumper site for
the EM_BOOTSEL# and ROM_WP# signals. Jumpers can be installed on pins 1/2 to assert
(active low) the EM_BOOTSEL# signal (see "Boot Code Selection" on page 4-3), and on pins
3/4 to assert (active low) the ROM_WP# signal (see "External Write-Protect" on page 4-2) at the
backplane.
