6.4.6 Serial RS-422/485—COM1–COM8 (P1–P8)
The C2K-TM provides eight on-board 2 x 5-pin headers to access RS-422 and/or RS-485 serial
ports COM1 (P1) through COM8 (P8). The pin assignment listed in Table 6-8 applies to all eight
COM port connectors.

6.4.7 Serial RS-232—COM3, COM4 (P9, P10)
The C2K-TM provides two on-board 2 x 5-pin headers to access the RS-232 serial ports COM3
(P10) and COM4 (P9). The pin assignment listed in Table 6-9 applies to both COM port headers.

6.4.8 BATT+ Header (P13)
The C2K-TM provides an on-board 2 x 5-pin header (P13) for the BATT+ line. A +3.3V supply
can be connected to the BATT+ header to provide power to the NVRAM/RTC device as a battery
backup when the C2K is not powered-on but still installed in a chassis slot.
