Setting up the RF Input

Note: If the unit is in a disaster recovery or NIT retune recovery mode, an error
message is displayed, informing you that any changes made to the page will
interrupt the disaster recovery or NIT retune process. The error message ap pears
when you load, refresh, or apply changes to the page. For more information on NIT
retune, see NIT Retune Recovery (on page 10). For more information on disaster
recovery, see Disaster Recovery (on page 7).

From the user interface of the D9858, choose Input > Input Setup. The Input
Setup page is displayed.

In the RF Input Selection area, check the Use RF Input check box to activate an
RF input. You can select RF 1 to RF 4.

Choose UserCfg from the Input Selection drop-down list to lock to the RF input
set by the user. Choose SW Map to use the orbital position settings to select the
RF input. We recommend that you validate the orbital position for the SW Map
option.
