(2) Brake unit-generated heat
When a brake unit is used, heat is generated by the
brake unit and the brake resistor.
1) Heat generated by the brake unit (excluding that
of the brake resistor) is found according to the
diagram as shown below.
2) Heat loss of the brake resistor is calculated by the
following expression:
