6. Insert a pin punch into the mounting tube and care-
fully drive out the bushings (Fig. 0230).

7. Clean the inside of the mounting tube.

Castor Wheel Fork Bushing Installation

1. Grease the inside and outside of the new bushings.
Use a hammer and fl at plate to carefully drive the
bushings into the pivot tubes (Fig. 0231).

2. Inspect the caster wheel fork for wear and replace if
necessary.
3. Slide the caster wheel fork through the bushings in
the mounting tube (Fig. 0232).
Note: The inside diameter of the bushings may
collapse slightly when installed. If the caster
wheel fork does not slide into the new
bushings, ream both bushings to an inside
diameter of 1.126" (29mm).

4. Slide the spacer(s) onto the fork (Fig. 0233).
