PTO Switch

Only 2 terminals are used in this application: numbers 1
and 4 as shown in the fi gure below. These terminals are
normally open. They close only when the PTO knob is
pulled outward. This is a momentary switch so when the
PTO knob is released it will return to the open position
(Fig. 1402 and Fig. 1403).

Delay Module

The Delay Module delays clutch disengagement for a
second or two. It allows the operator to momentarily
release the handle and then re-engage it without going
through the 2 step blade engagement process. This
module contains a number of resistors and a transistor.
If the clutch fails to engage or disengage properly, test
the clutch and power supply. If they function normally,
the module should be replaced (Fig. 1404).
