Throttle Body Assembly Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to "Air
Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement".
2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical
connector (1) from the throttle actuator control (TAC)
module.
3. Remove the throttle body bolts.
4. Remove the throttle body and gasket. Discard the
gasket.
Installation Procedure
1. Position a NEW throttle body gasket to the upper
intake manifold.
2. Position the throttle body to the upper intake
manifold.
CAUTION
!
Refer to "Fastener Notice: ".
3. Install the throttle body bolts.
Tightening torque
Tighten the bolts to 10 N⋅m (89 lb in).
4. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical
connector (1) to the TAC module.
5. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to "Air
Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement".
