Setting up Subtitles

From the user interface of the D9854/D9854-I, choose Audio & Video >
Subtitles. The Subtitles page is displayed.

From the Subtitle Control drop-down list, choose the subtitle control to use to
display the program subtitles. The following table describes each of the available
options:

From the Imitext Position drop-down list, choose position of the on-screen
subtitle text (Standard or Extended).

The Imitext Foreground Colour sets the color for Imitext subtitles. Auto displays
text in the color transmitted by the subtitling equipment. Yellow and White
overrides the color set by the uplink and display text in the selected color.

The Imitext Background Color sets the text background for Imitext subtitles. The
following table identifies the affect each setting has on the displayed subtitle text:

Description
No subtitles are displayed.
Displays DVB or Imitext subtitles, if available.
Displays only DVB titles, if available. Otherwise, no subtitles are
displayed.
Displays only Imitext subtitles, if available. Otherwise, no subtitles
are displayed.
Description
Uses the uplink subtitling equipment setting.
