wnen heavy real components such as suspension, fuel tank. spare tile and trunk lid are to be removed,

plac€ additional weight in tha trunk betole hoisting. When substantial weight is removed trom the lear of th6 cal, the

center of gravity may change and can causs the car to tip forward on tho hoist.

NOTE: Since each tire/wheel assembly weighs approximately 30 lbs { 1 4 kg), placing the front wheels in the trunk can

assist with weight dist.ibution.

1. Place the lift blocks as shown.

Raise the hoist a few inches (centimeters) and .ock the car to be sure it is firmly supponed.

3. Raise the hoist to tull height and inspect lift points for solid support.
