The pressurized fluid regulsted by the modulator works on both ends of the lock-up shift vsfue and on the left side
of the lock-
up controlvslvo. Under this condition, the pressures working on both ends of the lock-up shift valve ireequat. ttre stritt vatve
is
movsd to the right side bv the tension of the v8tue spring alone. The fluid trom the oil pump willflow through t;e bft side of
the
lock-up clutch to the torque converter; i,e., the lock-up clutch is in OFF condition.
NOTE;
When used, "left" or "right" indicates direction on the flowchart,
