GENERAL INFORMATION
LIFT AND SUPPORT POINTS
Use
the following
l
ift and support points to support
the
vehicle and
raise the
wheels off
the
ground.
Block the wheels that are
not being
lifted.
When lifting
the front
of
the
vehicle, set the parking brake.
Position the floor jack under
the
center of
the
front
frame
crosspipe (behind the under guard plate) or the center of
the
rear
end frame crosspipe IA or BI as shown, and jack up
the
vehicle high enough to fit the safety stands under it.
Position the safety stands under the support points
Ie
or
DI
and adjust
them
so
the
vehicle is level
.
Lower the vehicle onto
the
stands.
