The audio inputs can handle electret
microphones as well as dynamic microphones,
since the audio expander analogue can
generate the phantom supply for electret
microphones.

10.3.4 Connecting audio outputs
The audio expander analogue has 4 audio outputs to
route analogue audio signals to external equipment (e.g.
a tape deck in order to record the audio). Each audio
output has two sockets on the rear of the audio
expander analogue; one XLR socket (for balanced
signals) and one double cinch socket (for unbalanced
signals).
