ACN1, ACN2
Network protocol chips.
Active unit
A unit that sends data on the uplink to the CCU and
receives data on the downlink from the CCU.

Central Control Unit
Piece of equipment that transmits, receives and

data.

Data Communication Equipment. Term used in
RS232 communication protocol.

Digital Congress Systems that enables the central
control unit to communicate with the interpretation
and distribution equipment.

congress system of Bosch Security Systems.
DTE
Data Terminal Equipment. Term used in RS232
communication protocol.

Extension cable

distances > 50 m in the optical network of the
congress system.
