6 Crimp the socket contacts onto the copper wires
using the crimping tool (tool 3). See the next figure.

7 Cut the fibers at the proper length using the POF
cutter/stripping tool (tool 6). See the next figure.
(The fiber that must be cut must be put in the small
guiding hole and rest against the stop, the other fiber
must be put in the large guiding hole.)
Note
After 1,260 cuts the POF cutter/stripping tool
blocks automatically. Replace the cutting
system with the spare cutting systems (tool 1).
Additional spare cutting tools are available
under type number LBB4418/50.

8 Strip the fibers using the POF cutter/stripping tool
(tool 6). The crimping bush must rest against the
stop. See the next figure.

9 Put the ferrule into the POF positioning tool (tool 4).

10 Insert the fiber into the ferrule by pushing the
spring-loaded stop of the POF positioning tool
(tool 4).
11 Repeat steps 7 to 10 for the other fiber.
