Connecting to the DCN
Connect the DCN trunk line to the DCN sockets of the
CCU using LBB4116/xx Extension Cables (see
figure 8.4). Each socket has a red LED that lights up to
indicate power overload situations. An overload
situation occurs when the equipment connected to the
sockets asks for more power than can be provided or
when a short-circuit is detected (see also section 26.5.4)

Connecting to the optical
network
Connect the optical network to the optical network
sockets using LBB4416/xx optical Network Cables.
Each socket has a red LED that lights up to indicate
power overload situations. An overload situation occurs
when the equipment connected to the sockets asks for
more power than can be provided (see also
section 27.4.4)
