Connections

8.3.1
Introduction
This section gives an overview of typical system
connections using the CCU.
Connecting to the mains (see section 8.3.2).
Connecting to the DCN (see section 8.3.3).
Connecting to the optical network (see section 8.3.4).
Connecting audio inputs (see section 8.3.5).
Connecting audio outputs (see section 8.3.6).
Connecting the fault contact (see section 8.3.7).
Connecting the RS232 ports (see section 8.3.8).
8.3.2
Connecting to the mains
Connecting the CCU to the mains involves the
following steps:
1 Select the correct local mains voltage using the
voltage selector on the rear of the CCU and check if
the CCU has been equipped with the correct type of
fuse (see table 8.1).
Note
By default, LBB4100/00 is configured for a
mains voltage of 220 - 240 V(AC), whereas the
LBB4100/00D is configured for a mains voltage
of 100 - 120 V(AC).

2 Connect a locally approved mains cord to the CCU.
(see figure 8.3).

3 Connect the mains cord to a locally approved,
earthed mains outlet.
