Flush-mounting

25. 1

Introduction

Flush-mounting units form the building blocks for
customized units. They are intended for use in fixed
systems, where portability is not required. The units can
be neatly installed into either table-tops or seat armrests.
See table 25.1 for an overview of flush-mounting units.

Two methods are used to mount the units:
Snap-mounting (see section 25.2).
Block-mounting (see section 25.3).

25.2 Snap-mounting

25.2.1 Introduction
The snap-mounting method is used to install
flush-mounting units in panels with a thickness of 2 mm.
This method uses the 'click-to-fit' mechanism (see figure
25.1) to secure the units in cut-outs in table-tops or the
armrest of seats. This mechanism is available on all
flush-mounting units.

25.2.2 Cut-outs
This section shows the dimensions of the cut-outs that
must be made for snap-mounting the available
flush-mounting units.
