LBB4115/00 Tap-off Unit

Introduction

The LBB4115/00 Tap-off Unit is used to create
short-circuit proof tap-off points in the DCN trunk.
12.2
Controls, connectors and
indicators
The tap-off unit (see figure 12.1) contains the following:
1 DCN socket (tap-off 1) - A female, 6-pole, circular
socket to create a tap-off. The signal is automatically
regenerated (see section 12.3). Furthermore, the
tap-of is protected for short-circuits and has a
maximum load of 3.5 W.
2 DCN socket (tap-off 2) - A female, 6-pole,
circular socket to create a tap-off. The signal is
automatically regenerated (see section 12.3).

3 DCN cable - A 2 m long cable to connect the
tap-off unit to the system. The cable is terminated
with a moulded, male, 6-pole, circular connector (see
section 12.3).
4 DCN socket (trunk) - A female, 6-pole, circular
socket to loop the tap-off unit through in the system
(see section 12.3).

Connections

This section gives an overview of typical system
connections using the tap-off unit:
Looping the trunk through (see figure 12.2).
Creating tap-offs (see figure 12.2).

Mounting

The tap-off unit has two screw holes for mounting
purposes.
