4.5.4 Navigation in the installation
mode
In the installation mode, only a limited number of
controls are available (see table 4.9 and figure 4.1).

4.5.5 Programming procedures
Programming the interpreter desk involves selecting the
desired options in the installation menus. In general,
selecting another option takes the following steps:
1 Scroll to the required installation menu using the a
and b preselect channel keys. The currently selected
option is highlighted using square brackets. For
example, [option].
2 Clear the current selection by pressing the d
preselect channel key. The currently selected option
then becomes highlighted using arrow brackets. For
example, <option>. This indicates that another
choice can be made using the select knob.
3 Rotate the select knob to scroll to the desired option.
The selected entry is highlighted using arrow
brackets. For example, <option>. After the desired,
new option has been reached, enter the new option
by pressing the e preselect channel key. The entered
option is highlighted using square brackets [option].

4.5.6 Menu screens
4.5.6. 1 Menu a - Language selection
This menu sets the language in which text is displayed
on the display of the interpreter desk in the installation
mode. Once set, this language is applicable for all
interpreter desks in the system.

4.5.6.2 Menu b - Booth number selection
This menu assigns the interpreter desk to a booth. It
must be programmed for each interpreter desk
individually.
Select booth number:
Booth [ 1] of 31
Note
If a booth is full, no entry is possible and no
response is given.
4.5.6.3 Menu c - Desk number selection
This menu assigns a desk number to the unit within the
selected booth. It must be programmed for each
interpreter desk individually.
Select desk number:
[1]2 3 4 5 6
Note
If a desk number is already in use, no entry is
possible and no response is given.
4.5.6.4 Menu d - Number of channels selection
This menu selects the number of required language
channels in the system. Once set, this number is
applicable for all interpreter desks in the system.
