This section explains restrictions and consideration when using a high speed data logger module in a redundant system.

Restrictions

The following shows the restricted functions and specifications of when using a redundant system.
Mountable base units
A high speed data logger module must be mounted on an extension base unit
be mounted on the main base unit in a redundant system.
*1 Only the extension level 2 to 7 are available.
Access target CPUs
There are restrictions on accessible routes. For details, refer to the following:

Dedicated instructions
Dedicated instructions for a high speed data logger module cannot be used.
If a dedicated instruction is used, "Operation error (redundant function)" occurs in the process CPU (redundant mode).
