4.1.1 Installation Precautions

Checking the Drainage Capacity
There should be drainage ditches with sufficient drainage capacity.
The layout and installation of pipes should facilitate the maintenance of the unit.
Checking Electrical Access for Auxiliaries
The modular indirect evaporative cooling system is an important air handling unit
(AHU). You need to strictly follow the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning
(HVAC) construction requirements. To ensure proper operation of the unit, protect
it against dust, dirt, corrosive gas, and high humidity. Do not use the indoor unit in
open air.

System Installation (FDC Scenario)

The concrete foundation should be strong and rigid enough to bear all weight
and vibration during the operation of the unit.
The length and width of the concrete foundation should be respectively 50–
100 mm longer than the length and width of the unit.
The surface of the concrete foundation should be flat and clean.
