6.7.8 Replacing the Electric Heater

Context
Recommended tools and materials: protective gloves, a Phillips screwdriver, water-
proof glue, diagonal pliers, cable ties, and a new electric heater.
The electric heater support is inside the NetCol8000-C. Exercise caution during
maintenance to prevent internal components from scratches or damage.
● When removing the bolts from the heater support, ensure that the bolts do not
drop into the fan interior.
● Hold the heater support when moving it to prevent it from dropping.

6.7.8.1 Replacing the Electric Heater (Upflow)

Procedure
Step 1 Tap Shutdown on the display's home screen.
Exercise caution because the device is still energized when it is shut down over the
display.
Step 2 Open the front door and turn off the general switch. For a device that has two
power inputs, turn off the active power switch QF1 and standby power switch
QF2.
Step 3 Remove the fan maintenance baffle plate. After the electric heater cools to the
room temperature, cut off the cable tie on the electric heater cable and disconnect
the interconnection terminal.
