Step 3 Install the new air filter and secure it.

5.4.1.2 (Optional) Replacing an Electric Heater

Procedure
Step 1 Hold down

Step 2 Open the front door, and turn off the indoor unit power switch and the indoor
unit switch in the PDF.
Step 3 Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the six screws that secure the fan cover, and
remove the fan cover, as shown by (1) in
Step 4 Use diagonal pliers to cut off the cable tie that secures the electric heater cables,
and remove the signal cable terminal on the left of the electric heater.

An electric heater needs to be replaced.
A spare electric heater of the same model is available and functional.
Tools: Phillips screwdriver, diagonal pliers, and cable tie
on the home screen. Tap Yes on the shutdown confirmation
